Villainy
Kami-Con Season 15 (2024)
Kosho welcomes everyone to Kami-Con Season 15, the year of Villainy, alone this year, given that Shio disappeared at the end of Season 14.
(Editor’s Note: Didn’t something sorta like this happen once before? /checks my notes Ah, yes. ※ Please see Season 7 / Season 8.)
Following her greeting, Kyubii (from Puella Magi Madoka Magica) appears, and offers Kosho the chance to become a magical girl. Which is silly, since Kosho already is one, and already went through the trouble to obtain her own magical animal mascot—Shoyu (※ please see Season 4)! Kyubii is a bit taken aback and apologizes to Shoyu (should we be worried that Kyubii and Shoyu know one another?), when suddenly Shio appears with one heck of a villain’s cackle!
Shio announces her intentions to her sister—they will not be running Kami-Con together as they have been, but instead, Shio and her order of true villains is taking over!
Zizaru (from One Piece), admiral of the One Piece World Government, appears to clarify—there will be especially strict order at this Kami-Con this year. No wild games, no crazy concerts—just law and order. Shio has brought Zizaru on to serve as a beacon of villainous Light to purge Kosho's Darkness from Kami-Con!
Next, Shio brings out Azula (from Avatar: The Last Airbender) of the Fire Nation to lead the congoers along the burning path of law and order with her villainous Light of fire!
Toga (from My Hero Academia) arrives next, bringing with her the insistence that it isn’t only strict order that can should define a convention, but love and friendship! Shio is pleased to have Toga represent her team as she shines with the Light of love while performing her villainous schemes.
Shio’s final villainous champion to appear is Light (from Death Note). As it turns out, she's been building a team of Light-themed villains (did you catch this already?) and he fits the theme. She doesn't really need him to do anything, though. Just, be a Light villain. Oh, well!
And just like that, Kami-Con has been taken over by Shio’s Light-themed villains of order! What will the con-goers do!?
Well, as it happens, when Shio brought her villains together, another villain slipped in from Zizaru's universe: Buggy the Clown (from One Piece)! Buggy suggests to Kosho that even with the combined strength of Shio's team against them, Kosho still has a change if she can do something flashy. Kyubii helps Kosho and Buggy to set up a contract between themselves (with the congers help) and Shio with her Light-themed villains to compete in matches for control of the convention.
Throughout the convention, there are competitive events congoers participate in to battle against Shio’s Light-themed villains. By the end of the con, you congoers prove victorious and the Light-themed villains are defeated! The appropriate balance between Light and Darkness is restored, and Shio's has regained her Light of Hope. However, while the congirls are preoccupied with Shio's magical girl restoration, something unforeseen happens.
Sensing an opening, Buggy the Clown seizes the transition and claims next season's theme for his own, declaring Season 16 to be a Kami-Con Carnival!
